Deliver solutions for finished products through to engineering support for complex, turnkey, engineering projects

Welding & Fabrication

TS Metals is your one-stop shop for metal welding and fabrication services, which we undertake as part of a larger assembly process, or in a specialist subcontract capacity. Whichever the scenario, we work in close collaboration with you to ensure that our work meets or exceeds your expectations.

The size and layout of our purpose-built workshop, large access doors and lifting capacity give us the ability to handle welding & fabrication projects of most sizes from start to finish. Having all the production equipment that we need on the premises means that we can plan and turn around large or small projects at very short notice, whatever their complexity.

We provide fast response and turnaround, high quality work and flexibility, whilst our considerable experience gives us in-depth knowledge of what works and what doesn’t. We operate with Chamber Certification Assessment Services, certified ISO 9001:2015 quality registration.

Our highly skilled employees – welders, fabricators, engineers, designers and project managers – have many years’ experience in serving customers in a wide range of industries. As a result, we understand and work in accordance with your particular requirements and demands, from the outset of your project. From simple safety handrails to finely-balanced rotating assemblies and grilles for luxury motor cars, we insist on consistently high levels of quality, of which our workforce is justifiably proud.

We can work to your designs and drawings (either conventional drawings or DXF files), or provide the services of our in-house design team based on your concept and objectives. In the event that you need to recreate an existing product without the benefit of drawings, we reverse-engineer to original or improved standards, incorporating any modifications you may need.

Welding

We use MIG, TIG and MMA welding, and our experienced welders are coded to BS EN ISO 15614-1:2017. We can weld your own material – subject to suitability – or supply from our substantial stockholding of high quality metals.

We provide a comprehensive range of post-weld finishing services, assembly and haulage. We can also carry out non-destructive testing to ensure welding integrity and provide an audit trail, if required.

If you need to outsource your welding needs, please contact us to discuss your requirements.

Fabrication

TS Metals’ skilled fabrication team applies the same expertise and pride in producing simple components or complex engineering projects, one-offs or production runs, to your design or ours.

Working in mild steel, stainless steel, aluminium, Zintec, copper and brass, we have a wide range of the latest cutting, bending, rolling, pressing and machining systems at their disposal to ensure that your finished product is on brief and to the highest quality. We can supply most material from stock, or work with your own, subject to suitability.

We can also source any additional components and fixings that may be required, to your specification - readily working with your existing suppliers if you choose.

We provide a comprehensive range of finishing services, as well as assembly – including electro-mechanical systems – and haulage. We can keep a stockholding of your completed assemblies for call-off. We can also carry out non-destructive testing of critical components to ensure integrity and when required, provide an audit trail.

Our fabrication services also include delivery and assembly/fitting on site in the UK and abroad. For marine applications, we can work whilst vessels are in service to minimise disruption.

Large workshop access doors and the ability to comfortably handle up to 35 tonnes allow us to handle larger fabrication projects with ease.

If you need to outsource your fabrication or assembly needs, please contact us to discuss your requirements.

Sheet Metalworking

TS Metals’ experienced and qualified sheet metal specialists cut, shape and finish mild steel, stainless steel, aluminium, Zintec, copper and brass from the smallest, simplest parts to the largest and most complex shapes. We produce sheet metalwork as a component of larger manufacturing projects, or to be used in your own assembly operations.

From machine housings to bespoke fan blades, we have the expertise, equipment and capacity to deliver to your requirements. We work to your designs, or you can choose to take advantage of our in-house CAD facility – familiar with the particular needs of many different industry sectors.

Metal sheets – supplied either by you or from our own stock – are cut to size using our powerful guillotines and where required, profiled by our state-of-the-art laser cutting system, which cuts up to 20mm thicknesses with precision and high speed.

If you need to outsource your sheet metalworking needs, please contact us to discuss your requirements.
